School Assembly News is a short, student-friendly news bulletin that schools use during the morning assembly. Instead of reading long or complex newspaper stories, a concise summary of the day’s most important events is prepared in simple language so that it is easy for students to understand. This is either announced by a school monitor in the assembly or by a teacher. It usually covers: National news (government policies, important announcements, social issues), International news (major global events), Sports updates (tournaments, match results, achievements), Science/technology or education news (exams, results, discoveries, space missions, etc.)
