Hyderabad (Telangana), Feb 29 (ANI): The traffic police in Hyderabad has come up with a unique idea to shame people who urinate in public - by hanging flower garlands around their necks. Speaking about the initiative, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Jitender, said that such campaigns raised public awareness about sanitation and personal hygiene. Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector of Traffic Police, N. Rama Krishna, said that the the initiative is a part of ‘Swachch Hyderabad’ drive to keep the city clean and also help people follow traffic rules.

New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) workers protested outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence over non-payment of dues, which are due for months. It is resulting in immense financial burden on them. This is for the second time this month that the MCD employees are on a strike. The MCD officials said as a result of the protest, MCD services will be affected for some days. The cash-strapped North and East Delhi civic bodies have been unable to pay salaries to workers for three to four months now. There are over one lakh sanitation workers waiting for their salaries.
