The Uttar Pradesh government had recently initiated the process of withdrawing cases related to the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots, which included hate speech cases against Prachi.
Hate Speech: In the first case, related to the mahapanchayat on August 31, 2013, there are 14 accused including Sadhvi Prachi, Singh, Balyan, Malik and Rana.
In the plea filed through her lawyer, Sadhvi Prachi had pleaded she be allowed to get her passport renewed to travel abroad. She has, however, not mentioned where she wanted to travel.
Sadhvi Prachi on Tuesday claimed that the mission of a Congress-free India has already been “accomplished” and it is now time to rid the country of Muslims.
“Now that we have achieved the mission of making a Congress-free India, it is time to make India Muslim-free. We are working on that,” Sadhvi Prachi.
Lashing out at those who do not want to say ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, Sadhvi Prachi said such people “should be thrown out of the country or dumped into the Indian ocean”.
Responding to this, Sadhvi Prachi said, “We will continue our fight for the Hindu cause and if Kher has courage, he should jail me and Yogi Adityanath.”
The court had issued a fresh warrant against her after she failed to appear before it on January 23 despite an earlier warrant that directed her to appear in connection with the same case on December 18.
“Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Azam Khan are tarnishing the image of the country by their statements on intolerance,” said Sadhvi Prachi.
Sadhvi Prachi, they said, had violated the dignity of Parliament as well as the privilege of MPs with her remarks.
Sadhvi Prachi alleged “conspiracy” behind the administration’s move and asked why AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s entry was not curbed in a similar manner.
Takes a dig at Azam: ‘Approaching UN means you lost faith in Indian system’
‘Prachi is a habitual offender and has made many controversial remarks from time to time. But this time she has crossed all the limits,’ JD(U)’s K C Tyagi added.
A case of damaging government property and attacking police force against five persons has been lodged.
