Ritesh Pandey biography

Ritesh Pandey is a political leader from Uttar Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on April 3, 1981, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, to his parents, Rakesh Pandey and Manju Pandey. In 2005, he earned his bachelor's degree in international business management from London's European Business School.

His extraordinary political career began in 2019 as a Bahujan Samaj Party candidate, when he defeated his BJP opponent to win the seat of Ambedkar Nagar and become the Lok Sabha MP. Before that, he was an MLA representing the Jalalpur constituency from June 2017 to May 2019.

He recently made headlines after ending his alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party, citing negligence and differences in visions. He joined the Bhartiya Janata Party in February 2024 after officially submitting his resignation from BSP to Mayawati.
