Ranjanben Dhananjay Bhatt, born on August 10, 1962, in Bharuch, Gujarat, is a prominent figure in Indian politics. She is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member and has been a representative in the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha. Her father’s name is Shri Jayaantilal Patel, and her mother’s name is Smt. Hasmukhben Patel.

Her political journey is marked by significant milestones. She began her career as the Deputy Mayor of Vadodara. Her leadership skills were evident early on, and she is credited with running and heading the “Women’s Club” for the last 22 years.

In 2014, she was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from the Vadodara constituency in the bye-elections. This was a significant achievement as she succeeded Narendra Modi, the incumbent Prime Minister of India.

During her tenure in the 16th Lok Sabha, she was a member of the Consultative Committee, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation1. From 2014 to 2016, she served on the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare.

From 2016 to 2019, she was a Standing Committee on Industry member. Her involvement in these diverse committees showcases her versatility as a leader.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, she was re-elected to the 17th Lok Sabha from the Vadodara constituency. Following her reelection, she was appointed a Standing Committee on Railways member. Her continued service in the Lok Sabha and her appointment to various committees underscores her dedication to her constituents and the nation.
