Rajat Tokas

Rajat Tokas is an Indian television actor, and has mostly been part of historical dramas. He began his acting career at the age of 14, in 2005 show Sai Baba. He became a popular face in 2006 when he played young Prithviraj Chauhan in the series Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. He even portrayed King Akbar in Jodha Akbar. His other shows are Dharam Veer, Keshav Pandit and Tere Liye. Rajat played a negative character, that of an icchadhari nevla Kabir in the first season of Naagin. Rajat has also done episodic roles in Bandini and Fear Files. He has been nominated 11 times for various awards for his shows, and won all of them, including the Indian Television Academy Awards. Rajat hails from Delhi and got married to theatre actor Shrishti Nayyar in 2015 after dating for two years. The wedding ceremony took place in Udaipur Palace. He is currently seen playing Chandragupta Maurya in Ekta Kapoor's magnum opus Chandra Nandni, opposite actor Shweta Basu Prasad. Rajat has reportedly found himself under fire due to his temper. He had a major fallout with his Jodha Akbar actor Paridhi Sharma. There have often been reports stating his arrogance during media interactions.
