Pune, Jan 25 (ANI): Women activist Trupti Desai on Monday said on Republic Day, around 1,000 women will go to the Shani Shingnapur Temple in Maharashtra. The sacred platform has been reportedly out of bounds for women as per centuries-old tradition. Desai added that it is a fight of women's self respect and will continue the fight for justice. Raising a question, she said when a man visits the temple then there is no problem, but when a woman goes it becomes unsacred? The prohibition of women entry has prompted lot of ruckus in recent days.
