P Chikkamuni Mohan, popularly known as P C Mohan, is a prominent figure in the political landscape of Karnataka, particularly in the Bangalore Central constituency. He was born on 24th July 1963 in Bangalore, Mysore State, to P. Chikkamuni Swamappa and P.C. Ramakka. He has been a stalwart in the political landscape of Karnataka and India.

His political journey began with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He served as the BJP’s Treasurer and President of the OBC wing. He has been an active member of the BJP, serving in various capacities.

He first entered the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in 1999, representing the Chickpet constituency. He was re-elected in 20042. His consistent victories in the Chickpet constituency have solidified his position as a solid regional political figure.

His parliamentary journey began when he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha in 2009, representing the Bangalore Central constituency. He has since been re-elected to the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha. His tenure as a parliamentarian was marked by his commitment to his duties and responsibilities.

As a Member of the Standing Committee on Urban Development, Mohan played a crucial role. He made significant efforts to improve Bengaluru’s infrastructure and transportation issues, including expanding Metro rail in Bengaluru.
