The situation along the LoC has got escalated following the killing of an Indian soldier in Akhnoor's Keri Battal area on Monday last and heavy damage inflicted on Pakistani side in retaliation by the Indian troops.
Brig M P S Bajwa (retd), Commander of 192 Mountain Brigade in Kargil War, which captured Tiger Hill, recalls that Lt Col Mustafa, CO of 19th Battalion of Frontier Force (FF) Regiment, spoke to him on wireless communication and made a request for the bodies.

Earlier, there have been several BAT attacks in which Indian jawans have been beheaded or their bodies mutilated. On October 28 last year, militants attacked a post and killed an Indian Army soldier and mutilated his body close to the Line of Control (LoC) in the Machil sector.
Mumbai, Feb 11 (ANI): After a day's break due to a technical snag in the video conferencing link, 26/11 terror attack convict David Coleman Headley's deposition continued on Thursday. Due to yesterday's break, extra time has been allocated for the hearing today. Headley is deposing before a Special Mumbai Court in the 2008 Mumbai terror attack case. During the last two days of deposition, Headley revealed several names in Pakistani Army and the ISI who are working closely with terror outfits Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Jamat-ul-Dawa (JuD) to carry out attacks in India.
