Rajya Sabha tally: BJP's numbers rise to 113 as 7 AAP members merge

According to the updated party position in Rajya Sabha, three days after the rebel AAP contingent’s announcement to this effect, they became members 107 to 113 of the BJP’s roster in the Upper House.

In the Rajya Sabha, the NDA is well above the majority mark.

New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah held a meeting with party’s allies for a better coordination in the Parliament ahead of the Budget Session. During the meeting, held at the residence of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu in New Delhi, a strategy was chalked out to present Government’s pro-poor policies. Apart from leaders of various National Democratic Alliance (NDA) allies, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj were also present. Naidu said that Goods and Services Tax (GST) bill, which is likely to come up in the the next session, was also discussed in the meeting.
