The Election Commission of India (ECI) imposed restrictions on printing and publishing election pamphlets and posters,and directed all the district magistrates to issue guidelines to printing houses,political party representatives,candidates and polling agents regarding the new restriction.
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Narinder Chauhan on Thursday said that campaigning for the November 4 polls in Himachal Pradesh will end on Friday and all political functionaries,party workers and functionaries,who have been brought from outside the constituency and are not voters,should leave by 5 pm.
