Road ministry notifies new rules on road accident reporting: Here's what you need to know

In its notification dated February 25, 2022, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways informed that immediately on receipt of the information of a road accident, the investigating officer of police shall inspect the site of the accident, take photographs/videos of the scene of the accident and the vehicle(s) involved in the accident and prepare a site plan.
