Manoj Tiwari

Manoj Tiwari is the Bhartiya Janata Party's Delhi chief. He got involved in politics in 2009 as part of the Samajwadi Party. Prior to his entry in politics, Tiwari was a Bhojpuri film actor. He is also a singer and television personality and continues to produce music albums and performing around the world. In 2009 he contested the Lok Sabha elections from Gorakhpur constituency as a member of the SP, but lost to Yogi Adityanath. In the 2014 general elections, Tiwari contested from the North East Delhi constituency and won. Currently as BJP's Delhi chief, he has been actively involved in campaigning for the party in the 2017 MCD elections.
