Members flagged the issue of stagnation in lending operations. They wanted to know how were the banks coping with the restrictions imposed upon them. The issue of Bhushan Steel also came up during the meeting.
The two parties together have a clear majority in the 224-member Assembly. Elections were held for 222 Assembly seats in Karnataka on May 12, while polling for the remaining two seats will be held later.
Karnataka Election Results 2018: "If the people have voted for performance, I think the Congress should get it. I think in all probability, we will at least get a simple majority," former Union minister Veerappa Moily said.
