In a major step towards forming an anti-Bharatiya Janata Party front, top opposition leaders will huddle in the national capital to discuss forging a grand alliance to take on the saffron party in 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
After a “fake” candidates’ list featured names of Vijayvargiya and his son Akash, who is now the party candidate from Indore-3 constituency, the senior Vijayvargiya had vehemently denied that he is contesting the polls.
Kailash Vijarvargiya alleged that anti-Modi forces use every opportunity to target the PM even when he is not responsible. “Kalburgi was killed in Karnataka, but awards were returned to the Centre,’’ he said.
“If the final draft (of the National Register of Citizens) in Assam found 40 lakh illegal residents, the number could run into crores in West Bengal. In Assam, the Supreme Court has monitored it. This can be done in West Bengal too,” Kailash Vijayvargiya said.
The BJP has alleged that the two were killed because of instigation by senior Trinamool leaders. The TMC has denied involvement of the party in the two deaths. The police claimed that the second death was suicide.
New Delhi, Jan 25 (ANI): Amit Shah, who was elected as Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national president for the second term on Sunday, would attend his first public rally in poll-bound Kolkata on Monday. Senior party leaders like national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, national secretary Rahul Sinha, state president Dilip Ghosh, state co-conveners Siddharthnath Singh and Suresh Pujari and MP Babul Supriyo are expected to attend the meeting. Shah was on Sunday formally declared as the BJP president for the second consecutive term.
New Delhi, Jan 06 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kailash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday countered Trinamool Congress leader Idris Ali's statement and said that he is mentally sick. He described the speech as means to disturb the peace of the society. Idris had accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of having links with terrorists in regard to the recent Pathankot terror attack.
