Nitish Kumar from AISA was declared President, Manisha from DSF was elected Vice-President, Munteha from DSF won the post of General Secretary, and Vaibhav Meena from ABVP was elected Joint Secretary. For the first time in a decade, the ABVP made its way back into the central panel of the JNUSU.

The circular, signed by Presiding Officer of the ICC Election Committee Neerja Samajdar, reads, “... the Competent Authority of the university has decided to postpone the ICC Election for the academic year 2019-20 due to administrative reasons.” JNUSU said this is “a victory of GSCASH”, the previous sexual harassment committee in JNU.
