Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was one of the three players retained by Mumbai Indians franchise. Bumrah played a significant role in MI's triumph in 2017 as they were crowned champions after beating Rising Pune Supergiant in the final. He has been a consistent performer for MI in IPL. Bumrah has played 47 matches for Mumbai and has scalped 46 wickets so far. Bumrah has made a good name for himself while donning the Indian jersey as well. He has played 3 Tests, 37 ODIs and 34 T20Is. In the longer format, Bumrah has scalped 14 wickets while in ODIs and T20Is, he has 64 and 41 dismissals respectively. Bumrah has been one of the finest finds for the Indian team when it comes to death bowling. He is someone who is pretty good at bowling yorkers and puttin a halt at the scoring rate of the opponent team in death overs. The right-hander came into notice when John Wright spotted him during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and drafted him in the squad.
