New Delhi, Feb 23 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner B.S Bassi on Tuesday said that Delhi Police are installing high definition cameras at 50 locations, which will be connected through wireless to their control room to ensure real time traffic updates to the people in the city. Bassi added that this would eventually be a part of an App alerting people about traffic congestion. As of now, 13 cameras have been fitted at five points, including ITO, Dhaula Kuan, AIIMS, Laxmi Nagar and ISBT Kashmiri Gate. Besides, that Delhi Police have also planned to lace traffic cops with body-worn cameras. Bassi further said that they have procured 200 body-worn cameras.
