Kuwait airlift to Operation Raahat: Here are the major evacuation operations carried out by India

India has a history of successful airlift and sea-based evacuation operations where a huge number of people have been brought back to the safety of Indian borders. India will operate special flights from June 25-28 to evacuate Indians from blockade-hit Qatar. Seven countries in the Gulf recently imposed a travel and trade boycott on Qatar.

External Affairs Ministry has said of the 350 evacuees, 206 belong to Kerala, 40 are from TN, 31 from Maharashtra, 23 from WB and 22 from Delhi, besides other states.
