While Nirmal Singh criticized mainstream opposition of politicking over it demand for dialogue with Pakistan and the separatists, Singh also slammed Hurriyat Conference leaders of maintaining silence when an innocent is killed by militants.
“There are some media houses that have created an atmosphere where even talking about talks has become anti-national. They bring people from Kashmir who are not even known in their own colonies. They always speak anti-India," the CM said.
"Pakistan is committed to its policy of peaceful neighbourhood but India's posture including its claims of surgical strikes and unprecedented escalation on Line of Control and Working Boundary are threat to peace."
