Also, students who wish to improve their marks in the same year of exam will have the provision to appear for the improvement exams in a maximum of three subjects. Earlier, students were able to take improvement exams in two subjects only.

CISCE ICSE Class 10, ISC Class 12 Result 2026 Date: This year, the ICSE Class 10 exams were conducted from February 17 to March 30, while the ISC Class 12 exams were held from February 12 to April 6. Once results released, students will be able to check their scorecards on the official websites at cisce.org and results.cisce.org.

The UAE has also announced an early start to the spring break for schools and universities with students and staff set to be on break from March 9 to March 22.

ISC, ICSE Board Exams 2026 Cancelled: Dr Joseph Emmanuel, CISCE chief executive and secretary, said that the Class 10 and Class 12 results of the students affected by the cancellation of the 2026 board exams will be declared along with the results for Indian students.

Under NEP 2020 the Union govt has encouraged school boards to redesign board exams to be more flexible, competency-based, and less stressful.
