On Thursday, Tata Motors, Ford India and Nissan India announced plans to hike prices of their passenger vehicles from next month. Nissan India said it will increase prices by up to 4 per cent across its model.
Auto Expo 2018 Highlights: Japanese auto major Honda and Maruti Suzuki India on Wednesday unveiled new products. Honda unveiled three new products, including the all new Amaze, which will hit the market during the upcoming fiscal.
The company, which operates in India through a wholly-owned arm Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), has already put in place a separate team in its research and division unit for electric vehicles since last year, a senior company official said.
The company also sold 4,834 units of its new compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) WR—V. Besides, SUV BR—V saw sales of 1,298 units. Sales of SUV CR—V stood at 31 units and Accord Hybrid at 18 units last month.
