While farmers have lifted blockade from all the tracks and agreed to let all trains run in Punjab, there has been no relent in their protest against the central laws, which they feel would pave way for the dismantling of the minimum support price system, leaving them at the "mercy" of big corporates.

Farmers will also try to enter the national highway from Rajpura towards Ambala or from Sardulgarh towards Sirsa, from Budhlada towards Ratia, from Muktsar towards Kallanwali area of Haryana etc.

A government statement said the farmers had acceded to the CM's appeal to allow both passenger and goods trains. The farmer leaders said they would continue with their plans to "lay siege to Delhi" on November 26-27.

The protesting farmers claim to have vacated all the tracks but says they will only allow goods trains to run. The Railways, however, has made it clear that it will either run both passengers and the goods trains or none at all.
