The five accused, who were arrested on March 19 and remanded in police custody, led to the recovery during their interrogation over the last three days. All five accused shall again be produced in court on Friday.
“We had information that some people were selling bogus documents to facilitate drivers’ licences and other permits. We arrested two men from the premises. Based on the information provided by them, we arrested two others as well,” said a senior officer.
Ranjan Bhatia said the registration of the flat done in his name was also based on fake documents and when he came to know and asked the accused about it, the accused started making excuses and also refused to return the money to him.
