Engineer Rashid Budget Session 2026: The court granted permission subject to the conditions imposed earlier by the court, with a clarification that the issue of travel expenses would be final upon the outcome of an appeal pending before the Delhi High Court.

Rashid has been lodged in Tihar jail since 2019 in an eight-year-old terror funding case.

Additional sessions judge Prashant Sharma, however, clarified that the travel cost was subject to the outcome of the appeal already pending in the Delhi High Court.

With both judges differing, the matter will now go before the Chief Justice for a final decision.
