Candidates can check the merit list on the university website – du.ac.in. The third merit list was scheduled to be released on December 3 but the authorities had rescheduled it after extending the round 2 admission deadline.

The committee analysed the data of admissions which are cut-off based and saw that among the 39 such boards, it showed the highest intake of students from the CBSE (37,767), followed by the Kerala board (1,890), Haryana board (1,824), ISC (1,606) and Rajasthan board (1,329).

The data shows that the number of applicants who have scored above 90 per cent marks in their board exams is 142 for BA (Honours) English, 305 for Political Science (Honours), 618 for BA programme, 567 for BCom and 954 for BCom (Honours).

Private varsities plan expansion, new courses to address high UG cut-off

There are several students who despite scoring a decent percentage could not make it to the high DU cut-offs and are now heading towards private colleges in Delhi-NCR.

For the BCom course, Jesus and Mary College, Agarsen College, Hansraj College and Miranda House have closed the admissions. The cut-off at the rest of the colleges is between 69 per cent to 76 per cent.
