Ghosh added a rally will be organised on that day from the BJP headquarters at Murlidhar Sen Lane to Shyambazar five-point crossing. “BJP supporters who were attacked on March 3 when the party organised bike rallies to observe Sankalpa Divas, will also take part in the rally,” he said.
“We have the right to know how many people died in the air strike and who were they? We want to know the actual incident as we have not received any details…. We love the nation. But we do not like to see people play politics over bodies of our jawans.”
The Congress, however, said the statement was “sort of an admission” from the state BJP chief, who probably knew that the chances of the saffron party returning to power at the Centre after this year’s general election were “slim”.

New Delhi, Jan 25 (ANI): Amit Shah, who was elected as Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national president for the second term on Sunday, would attend his first public rally in poll-bound Kolkata on Monday. Senior party leaders like national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, national secretary Rahul Sinha, state president Dilip Ghosh, state co-conveners Siddharthnath Singh and Suresh Pujari and MP Babul Supriyo are expected to attend the meeting. Shah was on Sunday formally declared as the BJP president for the second consecutive term.
