DU colleges offering admission based on Class 12 marks: List of colleges and courses

The notice does not mean that all course are reverting to Class 12-based admissions. The Class 12 merit route is limited to the specific courses and colleges listed in the notice, and only for those candidates who have not yet taken admission to any college in DU.

From the 2026-27 academic session, students will be required to choose only three courses each in semesters 7 and 8, apart from the academic track. These options will be either three DSEs from the pool, or two DSEs and one Generic Elective (GE), or one DSE and two GEs.
