Sibal said instead of dealing with the university students in the way that they should be dealt with, the BJP was busy proving that they were criminals. New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): West Bengal state Congress president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary on Sunday said Sambia Sohrab’s arrest was not really an arrest, but surrender. He added that efforts were being made to protect Sohrab. He stated that since pressure was being mounted by people and opposition parties, the accused had to be arrested. He further added that the drama surrounding the case was enacted by the police and Trinamool Congress Party (TMC).
