Vidhan Sabha Secretariat asks Karnal DC to probe commercial use of Speaker’s photo and take action

In an advertisement published in newspapers by a property dealing firm from Gharaunda in Karnal District, intended for commercial purposes, the photograph of Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvindra Kalyan was used without obtaining his consent.

It also approved automatic identification of old-age pension beneficiaries through the Family ID system.
