All seven on board including Nepal's Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Rabindra Adhikari were killed in the fatal crash. An emergency meeting of the cabinet was called following the incident.
The body of one of the five ONGC deputy general managers, V K Bindu Lal Babu, is yet to be recovered. His family has given DNA samples to facilitate the process of DNA tests of certain body parts found in the debris.
The impact of the chopper crashing into the sea led to the bodies being mutilated. The chopper carried five ONGC officials and two pilots. While six bodies have been recovered, search for the remaining body continued Sunday.
So far, the bodies of ONGC officers Pankaj Garg, R Saravanan, P N Sreenivasan and Jose Antony, and pilot Ramesh Ohatkar have been recovered and identified. Search operations continue to locate the other pilot, Captain V C Katoch.
