On the screening of the movie, Khanna said that his work being showcased at the UN “is one of the highest compliments” and he is proud that through the film, there can be a conversation about widows, and their empowerment.
Michelin-starred restauranteur Vikas Khanna says his next book will focus on grains and highlight India's North-East region that binds it's rich culture through it's food. Despite being modernised the culture holds on to the value of it's grains.
"I am not a very planned person in my life. I have worked all my life on instincts. At times I need to be aggressively challenged to do something. Any new project I research or do, I need to be emotionally connected to it," says Vikas Khanna.
