The police submitted the chargesheet under sections of stalking (354 d), wrongful restraint (341) and abduction attempt (365). The chargsheet has around 48 evidences, including Varnika Kundu and her father Haryana IAS officer VS Kundu as the prime witnesses.

Chandigarh stalking case: Residents of the city held a 'Bekhauf Azaadi March' on Friday night, to raise awareness on women's safety. Spearheaded by theatre person Amy Singh, the march was attended by scores of people. It was held in the wake of the arrest of Haryana BJP chief Subash Barala's son, Vikas, who is accused of chasing and stalking a senior IAS officer's daughter, Varnika.
