The budget will be presented in the first session of Parliament for the new government that begins June 17 and continues till July 26. President Ram Nath Kovind will address the joint session of Parliament on June 20.
The Budget Session that started on Thursday with the President’s address will continue till February 13. Apart from legislative business, the House will also need to discuss the Interim Budget and the vote of thanks to the President’s address.
