Mumbai: Fire breaks out in Lalmati slum, 90 houses gutted

The incident took place around 11.30 am at Lalmati slum, a pocket in the larger Nargis Dutt Nagar slum near Bandra Reclamation. The fire, which is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit, was doused by around 3.30 pm.

State-of-the-art sanitation facility on Mumbai's Marine Drive
