New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Lawyers on Wednesday raised ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogans to protest against the anti-national slogans raised inside the Patiala House court premises by the students agitated over the arrest of JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar. Lawyer Vikram Chauhan said people who raised “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans have been made heroes by the media and when they are protesting against it then why are they being called ‘gundas’. Chauhan added they responded only when students tried to beat the lawyers and tear their clothes, adding that they did not hit anyone.

However, Tadac apologised in the court after being reprimanded by a judge. The lawyer, along with his colleagues, had disrupted the Supreme Court proceeding regarding journalists and students being thrashed by BJP leaders outside the Patiala House Court on Monday.
