Bajrang Punia has appealed to his fans and supporters to come in big numbers to Madison Square Garden on May 6 when he will take on two-time US national champion Yianni Diakomahlis in the 'Grapple at the Garden' Beat the Streets event.
Rahul Aware, Harpreet Singh, Divya Kakran and Pooja Dhanda have been recommended for the Arjuna Award; Virender Kumar, Sujeet Maan, Narendra Kumar and Vikram Kumar have been recommended for the Dronacharya Award.

Bajrang Punia opened India's medal tally at the Asian Wrestling Championships with a gold in the 65kg freestyle category, beating Sayatbek Okassov 12-7 in the final. Meanwhile, Praveen Rana settled for silver and Satyavrat Kadian won bronze in 97kg category.
