‘Odd-Even’ to return from April 15: Delhi CM

New Delhi, Feb 11 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said the second phase of ‘Odd-Even’ formula will start from April 15 to April 30 in the national capital. The Delhi CM further informed that two-wheelers will be exempted as earlier, because the public transport is not efficient to handle large populace. Kejriwal stated that 81 percent of Delhi’s population voted in favour for the second phase of the formula, adding that it can’t be implemented permanently.

MCD workers protest against Delhi Government

New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) workers protested outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence over non-payment of dues, which are due for months. It is resulting in immense financial burden on them. This is for the second time this month that the MCD employees are on a strike. The MCD officials said as a result of the protest, MCD services will be affected for some days. The cash-strapped North and East Delhi civic bodies have been unable to pay salaries to workers for three to four months now. There are over one lakh sanitation workers waiting for their salaries.
