In an oblique reference to the BJP central leadership, the chief minister warned that "Tamil Nadu-type dramas" could not be played in Andhra Pradesh. He added that "some bigwigs" were enacting drama with the YSR Congress leaders till Wednesday.
"In 2018, one year before the elections again, he (Naidu) withdraws conveniently. The very reason for his withdrawal is to ensure that the BJP does not grow by itself and acquire equity, politically, in Andhra Pradesh," Rao told PTI.
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu said that regional political parties have to take tough decisions to protect their interests and reminded the state Assembly that these parties can play a critical role in bringing together like-minded parties.
"Poverty is a major problem. We all should pray for eradication of poverty. All people should live happily and peacefully. My government is working in that direction to reduce economic inequalities," Naidu said.
