As against a target of construction of 1,94,336 individual household toilets in urban areas of AP, work has started in respect of 1,53,779 and construction of 1,04,732 toilets has already been completed, the release by Urban Development Ministry said.
Special emphasis would be on implementing the model in the 100 Smart Cities and 500 cities chosen for infrastructure augmentation under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).
