National Award-winning director Bijukumar Damodaran, popularly known as Dr Biju, issued a statement on Monday objecting to the Kerala government’s move to invite Mohanlal as the chief guest of the state award distribution function.
Mohanlal had said at a recent press conference that there was no dissenting voice from any actor when the decision
to take Dileep back into AMMA’s fold was taken at its general body meeting held in Kochi last month.
Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) has agreed to hold a meeting with the members of WCC and discuss their grievances regarding the reinstatement of Dileep in the film body.
