The Ahmedabad Metropolitan Court on Monday allowed Zakia Jafri to examine documents submitted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to it in connection with the closure report against Chief Minister Narendra Modi and others in the 2002 Gulberg Society riot case.
Social activist Medha Patkar,who has been spearheading the stir against Sardar Sarovar Dam project on the Narmada river,appeared before Ahmedabad Metropolitan Court on Tuesday in connection with a 10-year-old criminal case she had filed,alleging she was attacked by a mob at Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad in April 2002.
