Pak convict hanged for killing Punjab Governor

Pakistan, Feb 29 (ANI): Mumtaz Qadri, the security guard who killed Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer, has been hanged to death in Adiala Jail in Pakistan’s Rawalpindi city. Qadri had earlier filed a mercy plea before President Mamnoon Hussain after the Supreme Court maintained his conviction in October last year.
