Apart from providing weather news, content, and video, the company also delivers a wide range of highly-customized enterprise solutions to media, business, government, and institutions. Its forecasts and warning services are based on weather information derived from numerous sources, including data gathered by the National Weather Service and meteorological organizations outside the United States.

It collects and collates information provided by non-meteorological organizations as well.

95% of monsoon rain falls in only a few days, show IMD data
