Hemraj’s wife had already moved the apex court in December last year, challenging the October 12, 2017, order of the High Court. CBI sources confirmed that the agency had moved the Supreme Court.
“After the murder, Nepali people working in the city had contributed and given the family Rs 1 lakh. Nine years have passed. Since then, nothing has changed for them. His mother’s condition is poor,” said a member of the Mool Pravah Akhil Bharat Nepal Ekta Samaj.
Aarushi murder case: Rajesh and Nupur Talwar had been lodged in Ghaziabad’s Dasna Jail since 2013, after the CBI court sentenced them to life imprisonment for the murder of their daughter, Aarushi, and domestic help Hemraj.

Aarushi-Hemraj murder case: The couple have been lodged in Dasna jail since November 2013 in connection with the case. The Court had on Thursday acquitted them citing neither the circumstances nor the evidence was enough to hold them guilty.
