Sawhney, who was a close aide of former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit, said he has not joined the party for getting a ticket to contest the upcoming assembly polls but to work towards development of Delhi.
In a press conference in the afternoon Rai said AAP was tired of waiting for an answer from the Congress and a decision that the party will go it alone has been made. Barely two days ago, Rai had said the AAP was keeping its door open for talks.
The AAP government on Monday informed the court of the reasons for preferential treatment as huge influx of patients putting a strain on hospital's infrastructure and staff as well as manhandling of doctors by patients or their attendants.
Development Minister Gopal Rai, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Power Minister Satyendar Jain, who was admitted to hospital due to the hunger strike, held meetings with their respective departments and shared it on their Twitter handles.
