India dominated New Zealand on the second day of the second Test in Kolkata after reducing them to 128/7 in the first innings, after Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s five-wicket haul. Bad light forced play being called off for a second consecutive day. Full overs were not possible on Saturday because of rain which interrupted the match for more than two hours. India were dismissed for 316 in their first innings. Bhuvneshwar first dismissed Martin Guptill early in the New Zealand innings and later picked up Henry Nichollas after Lunch.
