MSK Prasad named chairman of selectors, Ajay Shirke re-elected as BCCI secretary

Former India wicketkeeper M.S.K. Prasad was appointed as the new executive of selectors while Ajay Shirke was held unopposed as BCCI secretary at its 87th AGM. No different assignments were gotten for the BCCI’s secretary’s post. The AGM was led by BCCI President Anurag Thakur.

Another five-part determination board was shaped, headed by Prasad (South Zone), which likewise included previous off-spinner Sarandeep Singh (North Zone), ex-batsmen Gagan Khoda (Central Zone), Devang Gandhi (East Zone) and Jatin Paranjpe (West Zone).

Gandhi, Paranjpe and Singh were the new augmentations to the board. Prasad, who was a piece of the prior determination board, supplanted Sandeep Patil as its administrator. Venkatesh Prasad was held as the executive of the lesser national group’s choice board of trustees. Ashish Kapoor and Amit Sharma were added to the lesser determination council.
