Congress taunts PM, says nothing is going to happen in ‘General Budget’

Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Monday said the former has an unnecessary habit of trying to dramatise everything, adding that the General Budget establishes the financial and economic policies of the government for the coming financial year. Dikshit said the people of the country have high expectations from the General Budget. The Congress leader pointed out that taking note of the present economic condition everybody knows that except for platitude, nothing is going to happen in this budget. Meanwhile, another Congress leader Pramod Tiwari accused the government of favouring the industrialists by ignoring the common man of the country. Tiwari also accused the ruling dispensation of failing to fulfill the promises made to the nation in the earlier budget.
