US-President Elect Donald Trump Named TIME’s Person Of The Year 2016

US President elect Donald Trump was chosen the TIME’s Person of the Year 2016 while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton remained the runner up. Every December, TIME names the person who had the greatest influence, for better or worse, on the events of the year. Last year German Chancellor Angela Merkel was Time’s ‘Person of the Year’. Earlier this week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi won the online reader’s poll for TIME Person of the Year 2016, beating out other world leaders like Donald Trump, incumbent US leader Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
